You listen to the sermon, you sing a few worship songs, you shake a few hands in the lobby. Then you check the “church box” off of your weekly checklist, and you feel like you did something.
Then Monday morning hits. You’re back in the chaos of the real world. The job site, the corporate office, the stress of business ownership, or the pressure of a struggling marriage. The secular culture immediately starts pounding on your armor. And all too often, that Sunday morning feeling evaporates by Tuesday afternoon.
Why? Because following Jesus Chrsit is a whole lot more than just showing up on Sunday.
Passive faith cannot survive an aggressive culture. If your spiritual life consists entirely of consuming a weekly service without ever putting truth into motion, you are going to get crushed when real adversity strikes. Christianity isn’t a spectator sport. It is a daily, relentless campaign against spiritual warfare. And it requires obedience.
Starting in January 2027, we are launching something entirely different inside of our network: Unafraid Discipleship 2027.
Moving from Information to Execution
When most men hear the world “discipleship”, they picture a classroom setting where a group sits around reading notes, debating theology, and never actually changing how they live. It’s all purely hypothetical. That might increase your head knowledge, but it won’t transform your heart, heal your marriage, or break your secret addictions.
True biblical growth requires three things that modern culture hates: discipline, obedience, and continuous growth.
You can’t just drift into becoming a godly man. A soldier doesn’t maintain combat readiness by accident. And a Christian man doesn’t build spiritual muscle without daily routines, prayer, and time in the Word.
Knowing what the Bible says is virtually useless if you refuse to apply it. James tells us to be doers of the word, not hearers only. Obedience means changing your behavior EVEN, or ESPECIALLY, when it hurts your ego.
A stagnant faith is a dying faith. If you are the exact same man spiritually today that you were five years ago, you are not standing still. You are losing ground.
Unafraid Discipleship 2027 is not a casual Bible study. We designed this year-long program from the ground up for men who are tired of playing religious games and are ready to go all-in on God’s design for their lives. We are challenging men to grow across every major domain. That means spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Stop Waiting for the Right Time
Too many men spend their lives waiting. They’re waiting until life slows down. Waiting until they feel confident. Waiting until the timing feels right.
The harsh reality is that the timing will never feel convenient. The enemy will always give you a dozen “good reasons” to stay comfortable, stay isolated, and keep your faith on cruise control. If you keep waiting for a stress-free season to start working on your soul, you’ll be waiting forever.
January 2027 is coming whether you’re ready or not. Where will you be in January 2028? Will you be the same guy drifting through routine, reacting to life’s pressures out of anger, fear, and pride? Or will you be a man who has submitted his life to the Commander, built an unshakeable foundation, and learned how to stand firm when the storm hits?
You weren’t created to live on the sidelines of your own spiritual life. You were created for a mission. It’s time to stop making excuses, step up to the starting line, and commit to a year that will radically alter the trajectory of your legacy, your marriage, and your walk with Christ.
