After years as a Marine, Navy SEAL, and Tier One Operator, I reached a point in my personal life where tactical expertise, mental toughness, and human grit were no longer enough to keep the walls from collapsing. The chaos of trauma, broken relationships, and isolation brought me to a single, unshakeable conviction: genuine freedom is only attainable through Jesus Christ.
That conviction saved my life. It also became a mission.
That mission is why we founded UNAFRAID Ministries. We built this 501(c)(3) nonprofit to confront the cultural narratives that keep men, veterans, and first responders trapped in silent cycles of defeat. Society tells men to handle their business alone, put on a smile, and numb the pain with whatever worldly quick-fix is closest at hand. But isolation is a tactical error. We don’t offer comfort; we offer spiritual discipline, tactical resilience, and the raw accountability required to stand firm, face your battles, and lead from the front.
Five Fronts. One Mission.
We don’t operate in abstract theories. We operate on the ground where the fight is happening. When you look at the landscape of modern culture, the battle lines are clear. To meet men, families, and churches exactly where they are suffering, UNAFRAID Ministries focuses its work across five distinct operational fronts.
Front 01: Veteran and First Responder Care
Walking with them after the uniform comes off.
After you take off the uniform, whether you served in war zones or walked the beat as law enforcement, fire, or EMS, the loss of identity can be overwhelming. We provide spiritual counsel, peer connection, and one-on-one mentorship to help these soldiers and guardians navigate trauma, transition, and the heavy question of who they are when the uniform is gone.
Front 02: Church Security Team Training
So congregations can worship without fear.
God’s house should be a sanctuary, not a soft target. We provide assessment, team structure, and scenario-based training to equip local church security teams. Led by operators with real-world combat experience, our instructors approach this training with a servant’s posture, not a hero’s, to assess, train, and sustain the men protecting our congregations.
Front 03: Men’s Ministry
Building husbands, fathers, and disciples.
We are a brotherhood of Christian men built on faith, accountability, and biblical leadership. Through devotionals, small groups, 1-on-1 sessions, and live events, we call men out of passivity and train them to lead their homes and communities from the front.
Front 04: Christ-Centered Recovery
A squad that will not let a man fall out.
Real recovery requires trading shame for truth, and isolation for a unit that has your back. Built on honest accountability, disciplined daily practice, and brotherhood, this front provides a structured framework where men can break free from secret additions and find true restoration.
Front 05: Community Partnerships
We multiply rather than duplicate.
We aren’t building an empire. We’re winning ground. We partner with local churches, first-responder agencies, recovery ministries, and veteran groups. We pour training and resources into ongoing community work. Our goal: to strengthen existing efforts instead of competing with them.
The Four Pillars of Operational Freedom
God didn’t create us to fight alone. As Psalm 34:4 tells us: “I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.” To help men experience that same deliverance, we build every front of our work on four core pillars.

How You Can Stand in the Gap
Every dollar given to our nonprofit goes directly into walking a man through the worst stretch of his life alongside someone who’s been in those exact shoes. Not every gift comes as a standard checkout form, and we welcome partners who want to underwrite this work directly.
You can directly underwrite a full church security team training, sponsor a local men’s event, or fund a full recovery cohort from start to finish. You will know exactly which room your generosity filled.
